Nearly there with the clutch

Hello everyone

Well I put the new slave cylinder in over the weekend, supplied by www.clever-trevor.net

Good service, even covered the postage.

Fingers and toes crossed, touching wood and the lucky rabbit's foot, it looks like it is holding fluid, even when the clutch is operated

So its now got a late style clutch, late style bellhousing and slave cylinder, some shiny new bolts here and there and a broken propshaft grease nipple (see other thread if you have any ideas). All done in my garage at home on axle stands. Gearbox replacement is much easier lying on ones back than on a ramp, in my opinion.

Maybe on the road this weekend to get the exhaust manifold resealed.

PS I have tempted fate and thus fully expect it to have leaked out all over the garage floor when I get home.

Just put it all back together but the exhaust manifold must be leaking (after I disturbed it) as the adaptive on that bank is all over the place, whereas before it was a solid 2%.

Oh, well I thought that might be the case.
