handy for curry...

while we accept that the handbrake is more ornament than functional item what kind of view do MoT testers take?...

Mines in next week (service and first MoT) at the dealer, but what's the deal as i can't see it passing!

The handbrake is a known weak point as you say. I would not worry to much about it passing as amazingly they all seem to do (i think). In saying that its better that it does have a bit of grip rather than sod all. If it was another car I guess it would fail.

We have a working handbrake care of Dave Batty (just south of Guilford) but don't tell everyone or they'll all want one. I'm not sure of the MOT criteria but I think it should be fine. The chim used to fly through and that always had an interesting handbrake.

Dave Batty serviced my cerb last too, inc adjusting the H brake which work brilliantly!

Hadnt thought of using it as a curry holder. Normally stuff it down behind the driver's seat

Ratten what a top tip !! Just been out to buy a takeway, so thought i'd try the 'Curry' tip - Hung the bag on the hand brake, f*****g marvelous device - best tip i've had on PH

All depends on if its a curry for one or more, the single curry/kebab hangs great on the hand brake, however those boys at TVR didn't let us down with the supposedly helmet hole, you can get a full curry deal for four in there!
