does anyone know the correct amount / weight of refridgerant required for a cerby aircon?
As I suspect mine could do with changing

Just take to an Air Con specialist, they'll check it out and if it needs charging up they will do it. I'm getting mine done today. It will cost max £100, less if it doesnt need re-gassing.
'350Matt' Your question makes more sense now ! I've just got back from having my Air con re-gassed, and guess what, they didnt know either!! Did a few phone calls and the anser is........ 1kg of R134A.
Make sure you put the right amount in.Dont listen to any old bo**ox about the more gas you put in the colder the aircon.I had some one feed me that line when i had my aircon recharged on my XJS i used to own.He took my money waved a cheery good bye and when i started the car blew the condenser due to to much pressure in the system.Hence i was left with a bill for £400.
The 1kg (1000gms) amount, was confirmed bt a TVR Dealer
