Door button

Hi all,
i'm getting annoyed having to enter from the passenger door!
anyone know where i can source a button for the door release 'outside'.
can i get through RS compenents?

try maplins web site type in on search "push to make button " not sure if any good but could help you out short term about £1.60 take a look

You might be able to get a suitable one at Maplins in Kingston, but do you know if the failure's caused by the button or some other part of the electrics for the door?

I got mine from TVR power in coventry, include some waterproof covers. However, I find that mine periodically fails, and I just need to spray some contact cleaner on the connections inside the door. Annoying, but a 'character thing', bit like the fact the speedo needs dismantling every time it tries to go over a 10k mile increment.

i've gone through the niggles.. the actual contact has broken off, tried re-soldering, worked for a while, then ceased. just need a new button.

We sell alarm bits at work, I've considered connecting the button wires to the common & normally open contacts of a wireless receiver & using a keyfob to open the door.

Just never got round to it.
