Just thought I'd plug Topcats Racing.
Having finally got my clutch slave cylinder sorted (has held fluid for 2 weeks!) I took my car to Topcats Racing to have the manifold resealed that I disturbed.
Having removed said manifold it turned out to be cracked where the pipes are welded to the flange. Sure enough the other side was the same.
So, they welded them up and hopefully it will last the summer and I can start enjoying the car.
They also replaced the oil pressure relief valve spring which has transformed the oil pressure. It was at a healthy 60 psi dropping to 40psi when hot at idle. Now its at 80 psi @ 3000 rpm dropping to around 55 psi at hot idle. It doesn't seem to be pushing any oil past the seals at the moment either
They set the car up on the computer and it runs like a dream now. I had a big grin all the way home
In the workshop was a bright orange Sagaris body over a Tuscan Racer chassis with a cooking 4.5 V8! It looked awesome and Warren was hoping to have it ready in the next few months. Can't wait to see that bad boy on the track.
Anyway, just thought I'd mention that I had a good experience and will be going back there for my next service.

Topcats are cool. Was there just last week, and had a good nosey at the orange saggy! Which was your Cerbera edhorne? There were two parked up outsideI have to agree with you on this, warren sorted my clutch, slave and master cylinder! I get taken round the Sagaris, at the time with no engine.. But looked the dog’s danglies! Cannot wait to see that ripping up some tarmac.
They did some extremely good work on my car, I will always use them, other than some other supposedly reputable TVR dealers, who seem to think cam timing out by 8 degrees after red rose upgrade not a warranty issue. See ted no names.
I couldn't praise TOPCATS more!
