Hi all,

So headcase kindly gave me ecu software, to diagnose / look at faults - but cant find an RS232 port anywhere on the ECU - any clues as to where the RS232 plug is located?

Take the cover off (4 small alan screw bolts) and have a nosey

do u know if the lead is a standard RS232, or do the RTS / CTS / RX and TX have to be crossed on the lead?

have you seen any photos knocking around of the ECU, showing the top off and where the RS232 connector is - about to go out in the garage and start playing - want to make sure that I am taking the right parts to bits ;-)

you mention in the previous post that with the mil light on lambda sensors etc may be "bad" - is there anyway to check that, and would the diagnosis software show me anywhere?

if you have the right software you should be able to see a log of all faults

I have the "TVR ECU Diagnostics Software" from MBE Systems

When you start it up, it comes with a picture of a cerbera - sound familier?
