Hi all,

Is there a 'how to' guide to using the ECU software any where?

Which bit of it, it's pretty self explanatory?

There have been plenty of posts on here as to how to tune the Cerb' using the laptop, have a search.

Failing that the above is covered on Section G of the service manual.

hi - me again... quick question - anyone know what the serial / com1 port settings need to be for the ECU software to work?

I am using COM1 - and settings are 9600 and 8 bits, not parity and 1 stop bit (8N1) - can anyone confirm what it needs.

oh - and one other thing - does it need to be a null modem cable (i.e. rx and tx, cts and rts crossed) or straight through - again - any advice, greatly recieved.

GTS Cerb, sorry mate 1 post only this manual contains security related stuff, can I suggest taking your cerb to a meet then someone there will give you a copy, I dont mean to be rude mate sorry.

The ECU just needs a bog standard Serial cable from PC world/Maplins etc. I've never had to alter the com port settings on my Laptop, just plugged the cable in it in and it works.
Click on 'Help' in the s'ware and theres a pretty detailed explanation of everything in there.
