I think ive driven something faster than my Cerbera

Last night whilst at work some one let me have the opportunity to have a drive in there car 6.5ltr V12 AMG Mercedes CL.I didnt want to take the piss so i opted to go as a passenger first off.From rest my mate whos car it was planted his foot in to the carpet,Christ!!!! In an instant i was slung back in to the seat, my head compressed and my hearing going quiet like being on a plane after a long flight.The acceleration was some thing else.Next my turn, foot buried in to the carpet and im off a warp factor 9.Unbelievable!!!!I couldnt stop laughing at the power this car had.Even for a big heavy car that the CL is my Cerb doesnt feel this quick or any Cerb ive been in for that matter.May be over a longer distance the Cerb could prove more than a match,but from what i experianced it would take some doing.

Hmmm, 1200Kg 350 bhp Cerb Vs 4700Kg 600 bhp Merc.

Some engine yes, but that makes the 290bhp/ton Cerb look pretty good next to a 127bhp/ton Merc. Or have I made a calculation error somewhere?

Believe me the acceleration on this car was something else.Top gear did a drag test with this car last year against the AM V8 Vantage and the Bentley Continental GT and it left them way behind.

I think that is 4700lbs, not kg. Therefore about 2130kg = 280ish bhp/ton.

There about the same power to weight ratio as the man above has shown.
They are quick and very tastey!

One of my best mates has one and I like it very mucho. Still love the cerb more but if I had the dosh I'd have one too.

Im not a fan of Mercs even though the wife has a very nice A class on my recomendation,but i have to say that after driving this, there would definatley be one in my collection.

It felt the same when i had driven it,the torque low down was unbelievable.

It was actually a DB9, but close enough. With 612bhp and 658torx, thats one mean engine alright, and yes, it blew the AM and GT into the weeds. Just wish i could afford one, but i'm not into the whole auto thing, give me a manual car anyday.
P.S. The quoted figures on the post above are a little different to what Jezza quoted on TG, as i watched that very episode yesterday on a rerun.
