door popper problem?

hi hope some of your knowledge is available to a relative cerbera rookie. had it since december and a couple of days ago when trying to open drivers door, window comes down but no longer pops open have to use manual release to get in and out.right pain in the arse and doesnt look to cool diving in boot before roaring away.

Dont think its the same thing that happened to me as my window was not going down at all. is the flashing green button still flashing after you've disarmed the car? if so it is the same as mine problem a while back! I needed a new control box.

can you hear the solenoid popping though?

The same has happened to me a few weeks ago! It was the solenoid which required adjusting!
If you put your hand on the solenoid behind the door and follow the little bar up, that fits into the door catch! theres a nut which is the adjuster, tighten it a few threads until it pulls the catch further (thats if you can hear it popping when you press the button)

Wonder if that`s something to do with my locking problem? Must check it!

get a test light, there should be 2 wires to the door solenoid, put the crocodile clip to one of the wires and the probe to the other one, then press the door button and see if the test light lights up for a second!
if it does, the solenoid is faulty( they are about a fiver) if it dosnt it may be the control unit or wiring fault
