perhaps i should have lisened to my friends about a buyig a tvr !!!!!
went to go for a drive first one for a while 3rd one since i've owned it
could'nt get in the drivers door, window came down no door open doh!!
got passeger door open ok start engine windscreen wipers are moving and emptying
out water water bottle WTFis going on
has this happened before is there fix PLEASE

If the battery was duff enough for the electrics to play up like that, the car wouldn't start (and the passenger door wouldn't open). Can you hear the latch try & release when you go to open the door, or does the window just drop & nothing else ?
It's not a secret latch as such - it's an manual release incase the electrics fail on the door
nick you were correct m8 but its tickover was a bit rough and the tacho was very
intermittant not woking unless you rev it ??? any ideas could it also be linked to the
big 100amp fuse?? all was fine last time i took it out did't even wash i and put away wet ???
there was a 20 amp fuse there aswell which should have a 15amp as standard
have i got to remove the big shrould is it under the fuel injection rail near the
windscreen end???

Classic 100A fuse symptoms, just replace it. Shouldnt take longer then 15mins.

top man is the fuse as i said under the fuel rail towards the windscreen

whats the maplins circuit breaker thingie is that a better buy any pics or part number
as it must be a better bet
can i get this fuse from anywhere ??? i live near leven tech so they might stock it ??

Levens will have one for sure.
The trouble is with a 100A CB is that it will blow at 100Amps, unlike a fuse which can take more for a short perios of time. I found that a the CB needs resetting every week or so.
The big fuse is in the centre of the enfine just forward of the starter aft of where the coil packs are.

about halfway down they do a 'midi' fuse which is much more robust than the std strip type but still the same amp rating, been running one on mine for about 2000 miles now
they also sell the strip type

right just changed the 100amp fuse (thanks leven )fuse 7 still blowing after about 5 secs of changing it book says its for the radio,boot lock and pass door lock could be the boot lock jammed or something similar as the pass door is ok still won't let the drivers door open i have used the pull cord any more advice PLEASE its sunny and i want to drive my car
