Car sat in garage for 2 days with charger going as battery was completely flat. THe battery is pretty much charged now and the charger is merely topping the last bit up. I remember seeing the windows down last night while I was polishing it.
Came out to it this morning and the windows appear to have risen of their own accord overnight, both the passenger and driver to exaclty the same height!
How wierd is that?

Damp in the door controllers probably.
I had a weird problem in the Boss a few months ago when it could switch on its ignition by itself. First time it did it I didn't know it had - I just found the battery was flat. Next time (which explained the first time), the gardener said "There's music coming from in the garage". Like something out of Christine....

I recall from a previous thread that this was caused by the reed switches (used to sense when the door is open/closed) being loose/out of position or similar. If you go over a bump the switch moves away from the magnet, opening and then closing again. As far as the door controller is concerned, the door has just opened and closed again, so it closes the window. Search might find the relevant thread.

Maybe the AQP system is malfunctioning !!

"Yes, my window will occasionaly decide to close itself for no apparrent reason! However what very few people know is that some Cerberas are fitted with a very sophisticated 'AQP' system (Air Quality Protection). It analyses the air quality 200 metres ahead of the car, and will close the windows if it detects anything out of the ordinary, for example if a Farmer has just finished muck spreading his field, it detects this, and then closes the window to protect you from the smell, the fact that you think the window is at fault, is actually a testament to the success of the system, I bet you never smelt anything at all did you, so therefore the AQP is functioning normally, you have nothing to worry about"
