Well now I want all your subjective answers... before I bought my Cerbie I always fancied the Interim Look as the best looking, i.e. the "classical" front lights and the POD single type rear lights (built 99 and 2000 afaIk), then I got mine and was quite happy with the "older" Fiesta type rear lights because they look really mean behind that black perspex...
However after seeing one with the nerwer type rear lights again I am not so sure if I want to go on driving with fiesta tail lights for good...
However there is something to consider...
-Does it devalue your car-- it is not original any more or worse- some peaple may think you smashed it against something???
-Is it better when you get a conversion- you might not drive around with a Fiesta lights any more but a lot of them convert theirs as well- so what´s better a Fiesta or a chaved up one...

opinions please....Wahtever you do dont Chav it up! Most things are down to personal taste, just stick to original TVR, eg upgrading front or rear lights from a 97 factory issue to a 2002 factory issue, wont necasarily be looked on as a bad thing, but you will never ever be criticised for saying 'My Cerb is totally original'
Do whatever makes you happy. It's your car - you (no doubt) worked hard for it, and it should make you happy in any way it can. 
Different people will look for different things when buying - some will want 18" spiders, some standard 16" wheels. Some will want sports exhausts, some not. Some will want headlight conversion/cleared side repeaters/more modern tail lights, some will want them all original. Same with the wood/metal dash. And the plastic/metal handbrake handle (although I'd struggle to see why anyone would prefer plastic!). And so on, and so on, and so on.
I think the only thing that no one would complain at would be more power, better brakes, and uprated suspension. But if the rear lights would make the car suit you more, go for it! I'm currently looking into getting DB7 GT suspension/brakes retro-fitted to the Vantage, but you know what... cleared indicators came top of my list of purchases well ahead of those - it's my car and it's what I want.

Remarkably similar in character to the Cerb! If the Cerb went to the comprehensive in Huddersfield I attended, then the Aston's its brother that went to the local grammar school.
Incredibly heavy clutch, hot cabin (assuming air-con's off), chunky gearbox, heavy steering (but with great feedback), phenomenally quick in a straight line, cornering not truly a match for the outright speed (but for a slightly different reason - the 36 tonnes of iron in the engine bay rather than a questionable standard set-up/lack of rear downforce/whatever), incredibly free revving engine that comes alive above 4K RPM and sounds like the gates of Hades have been let loose all the way up to 7K. Far, far closer a driving experience to the Cerb than the XKR (I think the manual 'box and steering feel contribute to that more than anything).
The Cerb was no doubt a faster car (especially with Nitrons), the XKR was a better car in almost every way (such an unbelieavably accomplished vehicle with all the Paramount development work on it - wouldn't have wanted a standard one), but the Aston's well, an Aston. Compromised in many ways, but so loveable, and the dream of a lifetime to own one!
