Hi there, I am a new member, just bought a Cerbie 4.5 on a X Plate, Sound the Nuts, Moonraker Black with all the trimmings last month, just had it checked out by my local dealer and they say I got a good car, NO RUST or Major defects (Result!), just need a new set of Front shocks and Engine Tune.
Not too much of a shock as I got it Private, dont mind spending a bit on it.
Has anybody out there got a pair for sale, I'm in West Sussex and I'm well interested.

What do you mean it needs a tune up?

You need to change all 4 shocks if you want to properly sort your suspension. Prices from just over £100 - £300 ish a corner.

in one thread, the poor chaps been advise to go to APM,TrackCarSolutions,Austec...
all he wanted was a bleedin pair of shocks! lol
Mate, theres a kwikfit down the road, just pop in and watch their faces light up 'UGG UGG'
or, you could do worse and go to one of the aforementioned pro's....

Just to be fair, loads more choices not mentioned in that area like, David Batty,TVR Fix, Fernies etc etc, spoilt for choice in the SE.

OR... TopCats, TVR Barnet, UltimateSpeed, NemesisRacing, London TVR, Silverstone Performance oh and my mate bob in barnsley, come to think of it every tom dick and harry can do it, just spec the shocks to your driving style and get the local mech to bang them on.

Yup - Guy is the dogs undercarriage! Top bloke! Havent spoken to him for ages, should call up to see if the new special stuff he was working on has moved on close to production or not....

Just so I can understand your choice, why did you go for ProTech out of the others?

Ensure you get someone competent and familiar to fit them. Set up is vital. If you are an expert yourself then you will be fine, if like me you arent then you will want an experienced person to set them up for you such that they are a good compromise from the off.
