Had the pleasure of meeting Joolz of trackcar today,a genuinely honest northern lad.
It was also nice to hear my Cerb is after all a genuine GT.Looking forward to driving it after the induction and mapping mods.
And he also makes a nice cup of coffee !! (Better than Ian's at Tourque)!!!!!!!!

He mentioned your car today when I spoke with him. It seems quite a special piece of kit and a couple of them have been writen off already! So, I'd say it's very rare and worth looking after

A very genuine GT .. in 12 years it's the only one i've ever seen so will be taking lots of piccies of the multiple suspension pick-up points, the rather strange exhaust manifolds and the unusual under-chassis plates.

Joo, did it have the same pick up points as ours originally had??

Very interested in the manifold design, as these GT's are meant to breathe much easier than the standard Cerb, think I might pop over on Monday for a look.

Will also be interesting to see how well the GT reacts to tuning, hopefully there will be a fair bit of potential left from it's original TVR set-up, as per the std 4.5.

Not at all Ben .. whereas your car has a std chassis with additional bolt-in parts for moving the damper upper locations, this car has a completely different set of chassis lugs with lots of holes drilled in them. It's a different chassis.

LOL...just read through a few of the old posts over on this thread....how wrong some people can be...so much poo-pooing the GT model..."doesnt exist...", "just a standard 4.5...", it really amazes me sometimes how some peeps seem to suggest that they know everything about everything to do with TVR's, when in fact they probably know about as much I do....and thats very little! .....even the Cerbera guru himself says.." even after 12 years of these beasts there's still new stuff to see"

I maintain that the GT's were just the first few experimental Cerberas... some more extreme than others

Ah, but does Joo maje them at 0420 in the morning? And more importantly, have you tried the new upgrade (expresso)?
