diff oil and how to check!

Hello

first of all how can you check the amount of oil in the dif? mine is leaking a little bit and want to make sure it isnt stupidly low before i head of to le mans!

also!, can you get the standard mobil oil for the dif from Halfrauds? or does anyone know anywhere around Bristol/Bath?

You'll have to cntact one of the Dealers or Indies for the correct grade Diff oil, Halfrauds do not stock it.

For checking the oil level, there is a nut on the Drivers side of the diff 3/4 of the way up from the bottom of the diff. Remove it and insert your finger, if you can immediately feel oil then you should have enough in, if not then top up until it starts to just seep out of the hole where you have removed the nut.
