Went for a drive to Warwick in my XJR today and came back with a nice shiny 4.5 Cerb!!! 
It seems to be completely up together - all the boxes were ticked.
The only question I have is that there seems to be a tiny bit of play in the steering. Is this normal?
My biggest smile of the day was when I came popping and banging up to a set of traffic lights and the lady in the car next to me just looked and shook her head despairingly.....

hi, we had play in our cerbies steering when we first brought it, but only noticed it once we got on to the motorway, ours were worn UJ's. We ordered the two UJ's from our local TVR garage and had them fitted at a by a friend who is a mechanic, and owns his own garage, he told us it was a really easy repair, and could of done it ourselves!! Hope this is all yours is, but I would get it checked just to be certain.

The steering at slow speed isn't a problem, but i felt that at +125mph it was going to start weaving a little.....

Its because of the colour....you'll soon learn that the BLUE ones are the best/fastest!

Just out of interest, what's the nearest pub to you. I'll keep an eye out for 'The Purple Prowler'. Looks like you can play some of your beats too, as the stereo looks like its ok!
Hope it wasn't 125 on the way back from Ringwood!!! Speed cameras set up nearly every day down there !!!

Yep, it's the car that was on the Top Gear TVR Story, I only found out myself recently!
Anyway, here are a few pics, and no, it wasn't me out and about today, mine's still sitting on the trailer after it's outling last week at Lydden Hill.
Feel like a real post whore now, and sorry for hijacking the thread.
