Hi there,
Tyre choice is very much down to individual preference, but I have the following comments to offer:
A few weeks ago I put Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's all round, after 'killing' the old SO3's on a track day. I have already put them through their paces in the dry and the wet, and can honestly say they seem just as good as the SO3's if not a little better in the wet!!
(They also don't seem to 'tram-line' as much as the SO3's did and so make high speed driving a much more relaxed affair!)
I paid just over £560 for all four tyres, inclusive of valves, fitting and balancing. This was even cheaper that if I had gone for Toyo Proxes (which IMO are not as good a tyre as the Eagles, having had them on my last Cerb).
As I use the car every day, I wanted a tyre that would give the best compromise of grip/wear and noise and these came out on top!
Highly recommended!

I've used Goodyear F1s both in 16" and now in 17" and prefer them to the Bridgestone S03s I had before. Probably not the ulitimate track tyre, but ok for the occasional track day and much better on the road.
Falkens have also had a lot of good press from Cerbera owners on here, I'd consider them too.

There will never be a consensus of opinion, because we all like different aspects of tyre grip/wear/price/pattern.
My choice would be Avon ZZ3's wouldn't have Toyo or Bridgestones free - but that's me.
Go with what you know to be good, in your case Falkens, have you a reason for not having Falkens again?

My tuppence worth...
I thought the Goodyears that were OE on the Boss Cerbera were pretty good - I could have got past 12,000 miles with them but changed them at 11,000. Rears probably 90% worn, but still legal. Fronts dead on the shoulders.
I got Dunlop SP9000s (kind of by accident) and have been amazed by them. Traction is much better - especially in the wet. I then bought a 17" pair for the rear of my 4.5. The only criticism I'd make of them is that they seem to go off very quickly on track.
I recently had a chance to back-to-back some tyres (Toyo, Goodyear, Dunlop, Pirelli P Zero Nero) and the P Zero Neros were the best. Not sure about wear rate but grip/traction are superb. I'm going on to P Zero Neros on both my Cerberas.
Bridgestone S03s are tyres I would avoid. After S02s, they were a huge step backwards IMO.

FWIW: info for us non-supercar players
Michelin, Hankook, Yokohama: sliders, noisy.
Bridgestone: ditto, and impredictable even . . . had 'em on the lease-Golf. Thank gawd I can choose my own tires now.
Been in a TR6 with (Jap) Falkens: glued to the tarmac, rubber is soft (phat) and shines like wax (great lookers).
In normal conditions all these brands offer great value . . . but when it really counts it's the Pirelli's for me, P3000 longlasting and grippy. Bit roadnoisy . . . they do color a bit which looks stupid. But hey, we're drivers not posers right?

So out of interest, how much do the Pirelli P Zero Nero's come in at? I'm sure Pirelli P Zero's were the original fitment on my 2000 Lightweight before she had Spiders and Toyo's fitted (which seem like a very good tyre by the way).

If you dont acre about logevity and are comfortable using road legal "semi slicks" try Toto R888's. The level of grip huegly exceeds and standard road tyre. mine last about 4000 miles of raod and sprinting use. thet are also chepaish circa £120 each
and he drives like a grannie when he's sprinting.
only kidding the bloke's a loonie!
Any news on when your car will be back together Jes?

Interesting - BC I think you are the first person with a TVR who has suggested Pirelli PZeros, but I have them on my Alfa 3.0 and like them. I assumed they were better on a heavier car but I reckon the Cerb's about the same weight as a Griff so maybe I'll try them. It's them or the Goodyear F1s. Rich... ...P Zero Neros were the best. Be careful with PZeros -- Pirelli have a number of products, all called "PZero". I can think of the following:
1) Ordinary PZeros, both Direzionale and Asimmetrico
2) PZero Neros
3) PZero Rossos
4) PZero Rosso Corsas (?)
5) PZero N1, N2, N3 (OEM fit to lots of Ferraris until they went with Bridgestone)
