954 miles in Classic week-end

Just got back from Le Mans Classic (great event) did 954 miles without a Hiccup!! even managed a real 27mpg on the way there.
Hows that for a pratical Supercar!!!

Over the last eight weeks my wife and I have driven one hell of alot in the cerb, must admit the last five weeks its been my wife and the car has been as good as gold.

I did nearly 2,000 miles around Germany during the World Cup, without any trouble at all, in a Cerb S6.

I'm of the firm opinion that the more you drive them the better they are. I'll take it to Switzerland and back in September, just for a 'run-out'.

I'm off to Tuscany in August, approx 1,900 round trip and it will be my first time abroad will it.

Just wondered as you guys seem to have ventured to foreign climbs what you think is essential kit to take onboard as a "just in case" measure?

Blimey you must have taken the scenic route.. I've just got back as well and ended up doing about 650miles in my 4.2 cerb.

It went splendidly and depsite a small amount of backache I generally feel fine

i went to le mans classic, even got two laps in,now down in Milau, where the bridge is, and off to the south coast in the morning, done 2k miles and its running like a dream, and not missed a beat. temp gauge is well into 110 when stuck in 30 deg traffic, removed front plate (gendarme said its ok for circumstance exceptional) and whey! awesome not risen over 100. using hardly any coolant, but using a bit more oil in the heat.

Xsnowman - my essential piece of kit is an RAC rescue card!! Don't leave home without one.

I always get my local dealer to take a look over her a few days before I go, to make sure theere are no obvious problems. Once on the trip I check the oil and water daily.
