Wiring route for the NSR speaker (and aerial)

Having sorted a new pressure switch for my inoperative aircon it was time to turn my attention to the lack of sound coming from the NSR speaker.

It's the original 8.7cm pioneer one in the c-pillar and it ain't producing any noise. Originally thought it was a duff speaker but it would appear to be a speaker wiring fault. Problem is I can't see where the damn wires run! I naively assumed that pulling out the cubbyhole and examining the mess of cables inside would give me a clue as most cables see to be imbedded in there but nope, I can't see the 2 wires I need to trace.
Actually on the subject, neither can I find the end of the aerial cable. Last I can spy - it disappears under the OSR passenger seat, never to reappear.

Any clues much appreciated.

I believe they travel somewhere down the centre console, I can imagine it beong a pain in the a*s to trace them exactly, so before you do that, make sure the speaker is working (or not) get another speaker and connect it just to make sure (take the left one out and use that)
