alarm reset help

charged battery up put it back on the car and alarm is all messed up tryed the 4 sec reset doesnt work when i turn on alarm to lock the car it locks ok but alarms goes off ."next door is ready to kill me i think" someone help please .

Try disconnecting the battery again with all doors closed. Then as soon as you have re-connected the battery, hold down the button on your alarm fob until the lights flash / alarm bleeps, then release........hopefully this should reset the alarm.

I thought the reset was 16 seconds?
