Door button wiring

I have my door off as i have just fixed the external entry button
(corroded connector)
The internal door switch works intermittantly so i am also looking to fix that one ....does anyone know what the pair for the door button are on the connector (they are numbered on the connector)

Don;t know for sure, but there are only a handful of connectors, and they'll only go on one way, so trial and error should do the trick!

They are connected at the moment..... what i have done with the external button is follow the pair back from the button and loop them out of the connector which is corroded...all works fine now


However there is a connector which is 12 way which you unplug to remove the door panel.....what i am trying to find out is the connector that goes back to door release ..what the pin config is ...ie which pair are for the internal door button

Inner release is pin3 orange/white outer is Pin 4 orange, they both use a common earth possibly on pin 1. This is taken from the wiring diagram, if you send me your email address then ill send you the diagram.

Thanks for the reply....i have worked out the pair for the inner door..... but i believe the button doesnt work.......it is somewhere from that connector back to the button...also the button doesnt light up when the car lights are put on...

Any ideas on where to get an inner door button from?
