Been using the Cerb this weekend after six weeks waiting for a new clutch, fantastic! after that length of time it really is a novelty all over again, back on the learning curve getting used to the beast again, except for a few changes....
Can sit in traffic jams in searing summer heat without worrying about overheating (Trackcar Solutions ecu upgrade) and even found the aircon was working a treat, not sure what happened there, seem to remember Le Mans 2005 it was ok for about half an hour then would start blowing warm air, this weekend has just stayed nicely chilled the whole time.
Can drive in town traffic without getting stiff left leg from clutch and keep worrying about traces of clutch fluid on pedal from time to time
Can sit at substantial speeds on motorways and fast A roads with much greater confidence in a car that feels much more planted and stable, thanks to new set of Gaz shocks (Clutch & shocks courtesy of APM)
Improvements were not immediately obvious because was without the car for so long, but having given it lot of use over the weekend definitely more useable car than I remember, was going though a patch of doubt while it was away, starting to wonder is this car really that special and worth the expense?
Absolutely no doubt about that, soon as I heard the sports bike scream from the sports pipes at the right R.P.M I remembered what all the fuss was about!

I know what you mean about the new clutch.
I had mine replaced a couple of weeks ago and it has transformed the car!! The whole experience of driving it in traffic is much easier, and no constant worries about it failing etc!
Just need to get the other few niggles sorted now.........

The aircon will not work properly if your car is running hot ie the pressure switch trips. So your lower running temps will help ensure it stays cold.
Gazzab, any idea how hot?? my car was showing 95-105 temps at the B/pool promenade rumble yesterday, and the AC was still cold.
