The last Cerbera

The last TVR Cerbera is now on display at Ciceley TVR in Preston, just a few miles from its birthplace in Blackpool. The dealer's been in touch and said that if anyone wants to just come down and have a look at it, they are more then welcome.

As TVR announced a few weeks ago, one of the great icons of the British automotive industry, the TVR Cerbera 4.5 is making a one-off comeback in a live online auction of the last-ever example of the car. The auction runs until 31 August 2006. Proceeds in excess of the reserve price will be donated to a charity -- we don't know which yet.

The last Cerbera was commissioned and specified personally by TVR's owner and chairman, bringing the car out of retirement for one last time in TVR's true tradition of producing one-off 'specials'. This is his homage to the beautiful but brutish British sports car.

Anyways 18 months after the 'last one' rolled out of the factory, who'd need this one. Other than have 'the last one' and the last chance to have a new Cerb. Poof white IMO . . .

Makes me think: TVR should do a successor and make another awesome GT: XKR in plastic.

I have (beheld it with the eyes, that is) - still didn't like it.

A "strange pearlescent off white", stangely reminiscent of soft plastic (polythene, like in tupperware) that has been bent too hard and started to go that white colour.

But quite happy if others like it (they can bid - I haven't, mainly as I cannot afford it, and the Mrs would not let me keep the Griff too!).

White cars are back - make no mistake!

Haven't got the balls to have one myself but I'm seeing quite a few white Golf GTIs around west London. I was in Monaco on hols and beleive me, to see a brand new white Lambo is a stunning sight. I also saw a white new-shape M5 on the french auto route on the return journey. I'm reliably infomred Silver is now very uncool - white is back! And if its not - watch the residuals plummet for those brave enough to give it a go!

I like it, seeing MrMops pearlence white one really makes you appreciate the lines of the cerb, one of the best colours imho .

not sure if this one is the exact same shade of white tbh, it loks a bit flat int eh photo's anyone seen it in the flesh

I reckon it looks stunning in white. The only TVR I'd ever want to own is a Cerbera - I've driven a load but nothing compares to the Cerb. Awesome.

I saw it at Blackpool and the colour is the same as 7 day old gold top milk. The rear light mouldings look terrible in this colour, but I think you'll agree the interior looks quite nice.

It looks like unfinished material to me:
