Please help!!....... My cerb is for sale at the moment , a guy is interested in buying her but has had an insurance quote of £1290, he's 38 with 7 years NCD although he's got 6 points for speeding is this right?????? Where's cheap??

Try RH Classic Insurance mine costs £750 will full business use and 5* european breakdown included with Protected NCB but limited to 5k per year

Direct Line/privalige/tesco's...all the same insurance underwriters

8 years NCD, mid 30's One short term ban = £756.00 Full comp protected NCB legal + hire car, 10000 per annum...

Mines on a limited mileage(6k)with FNCB, garaged etc... its under the £600 mark this year, always found them very helpful and it includes trackdays and loss of licence for speeding!!!!

Mine was with Alan Manning - TVR owners club prefered insurer.

£417 fully comp for 7k miles a year, protected no claims. £500 excess and I can do trackdays but the excess rises to £750. Full no claims and the car is garaged. It might help I live in Swindon

I've just insured mine with Manning. £814 insured as a second car (mirrors no claims on 1st car) plus a named driver, unlimited mileage, However must be a TVR club member

A-plan quoted me £639 fully comp 6K miles per year and car must be garaged overnight. Includes protected NCB (whilst it's accruing) hire car in the event of a claim and £350 excess and legal cover. That's with no NCB cos it's still on my Lexus and I intend to keep that when I eventually progress to Cerb ownership. I am an old git though with a clean licence!

Ever one for a deal, I'll try the other contacts detailed in this thread too. Confused.com found me fully comp for £500 but that was with the NCB that's on the Lex. Strangely, for a 5 litre Chim it was £25 more expensive on Confused.com?

Try swiftcover.com dead easy to do on line i'm 36, 3 points, fully comp limited to 5000 miles, first performance car, paid 500 quid for 98 4.2 cerb, my first quote was £2500

Then when we went through the fine print they wanted 5k mileage and £1750 excess

Do you have Tracker fitted? I tried Swiftcover and they said I had to have Tracker or they wouldn't insure me I got it insured with A Plan for £350, £200 excess, 5k miles per yr and full NCB without Tracker.
