How much per year?

Sorry i don't know how to make a poll As i am in the market for a Cerbera i have been doing a lot of reading on these fine forums I keep reading about this £3-£4k budget for servicing/repairs per annum.

Can owners please post how much for repairs and servicing only their Cerb has cost them per annum.

Have a look at my profile & you can see everything I've spent over the last 5 years or so, and apparently it comes to £1881 per year !

The average is some £3k (or more).
dont think your poll will be very scientific.
But here goes:-
Last cerb cost me £13K in 2 yrs for repairs and servicing (plus tyres, insurance, tax, depreciation and fuel).
Current cerb has cost about £3K for repairs and servicing in last 15 months (I guess).

Averaged out over 2.5 years, about £6k per year for me.

I've had a 4.5 for 8 years and while I haven't calculated an 'average', I do know I've had good years and bad. It's perfectly feasible to go for ages without spending very much at all and then collect a bill for a few grand. That might average over enough years to not so much a year but that's not the way the expenses tend to work. If you can accept that you might get a £5K bill out of the blue then you're prepared for Cerbera ownership.

Buy the best example you can afford.

Similar experience to BossCerb, its generally fine and occaisionally (once every two/three years) has a strop that'll cost just under £2k inc service...

Not entirely sure what we'd do with a sudden 5k bill though!!

Thought i would bump this up.

I went for a test drive in a Cerb yesterday and about a mile into it the Cerb decided it didn't want to play and gave up the ghost

Had to call the garage and get them to arrange a tow truck

Needless to say i didn't buy it


Although i am going back for a test drive later in the week
