window winder help please

Im stuck for a drivers side window winder regulator (manual) for my S1.
I know its from an Audi of some sort but cant find out which one. Even after asking Audi what the part numbers are from, and spending an afternoon taking the doors apart on every Audi/VW in the local breakers.

Ive recabled mine a few times but the cable keeps breaking again as the outers are n%$&*^d.

Do any of you know?
I remember someone mentioning an S1 in there local breakers but I cant find the thread now.
Can anyone help?

Have you tried Bell Hill ? If nothing else, its a good excuse for a cross country blat from Newbury

Tryed Bell Hill thanks, they cant help, neither can David Gerald. TVR parts may have some info on monday.
So if anyone knows of an S1 in a breakers or being striped for racing, or what kind of Audi the regulators came from please let me know, especialy if you where one may be.

I believe the winders are from an Audi 80

Tha Guys at TVR car parts confirmed today that the winders are from an Audi 80 1979>1989 model year.
So now all i have to do is find one with manual windows. If you see one in a breakers on your travels could you let me know please.
