Throttle cable

My cable has become stiff and I can see that it's frayed by the pedal in the footwell, as such it needs replacing.

Looking back through the threads there have been several suggestions from a bike cable to a 3 quid halfords part.

Does anyone have a part number at all?

Hi mate, I had exactly the same problem around 2 weeks ago. I bought a genuine one and fitted it myself, never normally one to have a go but i did it. A bit fidely but done in about 2 hours, £50 for the cable though but piece of mind thats its proper!

Did you order it from TVR?

£50 does seem very expensive for what is essentially a very basic bit of kit, I might strip mine off and see what the alternatives are.
