Can anyone put some 18" Kei D1 drift wheels on a Cerb, I'm looking at a set but can't quite decide if it will suit the car or not!?!? cheers

Personally would stick with the Spiders, your car is one of the best looking Cerbs out there IMO. Clean classic and classy. Out of interest do you get any grief for black and white plates, have been tempted to do the same but don't want a tug every 5 minutes.... erm you know what I mean ?

Sorry for highjacking the post but due to not having a clue how to do it could somone show what our Chim will look like with speed six headlight conversion..??

I think thats the previous owners picture. Either that or Longbow will really be rubbing it in his face when the cars back together.

Again I repeat, I am not that clever with PS but a best effort from me on your own car, couldn't get the drivers side looking quite right .



As has been said Tvrbodyshop site has some examples, albeit in a different colour to your car, however used one of their pics and changed the colour of the car to be closer to yours as might give a better example.

Looking at the work Windsor has already done, i consider my face to be well & truley rubbed!

Oooh, yeah, don't suit the Cerb at all, they looked good on a Supra so thought it might too!!! Thanks for that though - you're right, spiders are the best looking 18s there are, just a shame they keep buckling. My two front ones have the smallest of misalignment, it used to constantly wobble mildly through the steering wheel even after accurate balancing so was going to get that fixed while I had a chance.

Darren, the car is 99% assembled now, hopefully you've seen the pics on webshots. Clutch is bled, everything ok there, no leaks. Coolant is in, again no leaks. Diff, driveshafts, prop and rear suspension/brakes all in. Interior fully refitted, battery connected (with fuel pump and starter fuses pulled out!!) - all electrics working A1. Just waiting on some oil lines (due any day) and the front powerflex bushes which we are having a few snags with. I got my fuel feed line today, so I'll get that in tommorow and then can get the exhaust fitted too. Being realistic, the engine will be running by next wednesday. I'm going for a maiden 30 mins at 1500rpm while I check for leaks and correct cooling / oil pressure etc. Got the champagne on ice.........

I hope you get to see your old Cerb again, you'd be chuffed I'm sure! I'm definitely planning on Le Mans next year - it will be my first!!!!!

A set of wheels I thought would look nice would be the BBS split rims polished outers with the gold centre's like on Porsche racers. Would go well with the dark blue paint.

Rich - didn't know you could weld - you must teach me sometime!! Sticking with the spiders for the time being - got my headlight conversion looming............

IMO spiders dont suit the cerb. Rather go for a seat of Racing Hart C4's
