I see Fernhurst nolonger think a '96 4.2 is worth £23k (1 month ago), nor £20k (last week), now £15k:

i just dont get the mileage for this ........low mileage on cerbs yes but 5700 miles in 10 years equates to 1.5 miles every day on average !!!

would this be an indicator of a car spending a lot of time in the garage ...early example ...or just lcck of use

Some people leave them in the garage & take them out to have them mot'd every year.

My dad's pal has had a 92 Testarossa, that he's had from new. It's got 6000 miles on it.

He went to pick it up from the dealers one day & gave them a bo11ocking for leaving it outside in the rain after the service

Can't see the point myself, but each to their own

We bought my dad's old Espace from him. 13K miles at 6 years old. he got ill and couldn't drive after the first year of ownership, but wouldn't let go of the car just in case.
