oil warning light

The lamp in my orange oil warning light has blown and i need a new one. Does anyone know if maplin do one and if so what part no it is.

Are you sure it's the bulb?

Sender unit wire is notorious for working loose and earthing against something stopping the light coming on with the ignition.

It's a standard capless dash lightbulb by the way, if you are a bit athletic you can see it if you lie in the footwell facing upwards (I don't pretend it is quite this easy, and you may need a chiropractor when you get out with the bulb in your hand to find it's alright!)

Try swapping charge lightbulb and oil lightbulb to see if it is the bulb or something else.

Thanks. It is definitley the bulb. i will take it out and get a new one
