Has everyone's insurance gone up?

Just had my remewal through from Sunninghill and it's jumped £94 to £744.

No change in circumstances and no claims.

I'll probabally stick with them as I've been very happy with the Track Day cover as I try to get out as often as time allows and it saves me £100 a pop. Having said that I believe ClassicLine offer the same policy, does anyone know if they too cover ATDO track days? I know when I phoned round last year they were the cheapest.

But I was just very suprised at the increase and wondered if everyone's been stung?

Not got a renewal, but had seen on the news the other day that Norwich Union are putting up their car insurance premiums by 16% !! and the news report went on to say they expect all other insurance companies to follow suit!!

Got my renewal through with Manning's, dropped from £621 to £571 only changes my end are I'm a year older and had a claim for a windscreen. Seems fair enough.

We got our renewal from Norwich Union the other day, and it hadn't come down at all. Went to A Plan and its come down £400.

We hadn't claimed in the last 12 months either, just a new windscreen.

If you are with Norwich Union they have hiked their prices up by 40% for 1 in 7 of there policy holders, nice!

Mines down £25. £772 a year, fully comp with protected no claims.

There's me & my Dad on mine...

Tesco's have reduced it from £688 to £666 (that's a first)

However A plan have quoted us £529 with A 90 day green card thrown in (excess is £100 higher though at £350)

Not got mine yet, but i always shop around when my renewal comes through - the discounts to be had for new joiners on many insurance companies out there usually far outweigh any paltry reduction (or indeed increase) if you stay with your existing one
