Shocks, Bushes, mounts or worse?

Hi All,
When turning left and over bumps i get a knock from the rear, and if it is a sharp left the back end appears to skip a little. Not sure if it is the diffs mounts/bushes. Or just worn shocks?
Any guidance would be much appreciated. Also a constant tick, tick tick, from the left side, maybe the brakes?
Starting to get a bit worried now. Will the back end fall out if I keep driving it?

Knocks at the rear could be a number of things, could be the diff or possibly the anti-roll bar mounts. Are you putting on power when it skips? Too much power in a bend will cause the LS Diff to create wheelspin and hence loss of traction.
If it knocks on bumps then it could be exhaust hitting the chassis. If it knocks when only one wheel hits a bump it's most likely an ARB drop link. If it knocks when you press / release the throttle then it could be diff mounts. If it knocks only on tight cornering it may indicate the diff mechanism itself. Start investigating the simplest issues first.
The clicking is almost certainly the brake pads rattling in the caliper. Remove the retaining pins and pads, put some high temp silicon sealant on the back of the pad and refit. Press and hold the brake pedal for a short while.

What sort of speeds are we talking about? are they 'parking manouver' type speeds?
A couple of other things to look for are, the top diff bush bracket it often breaks but goes undetected. Also the anti roll bar bushes can stick to the bar causing a kind of knocking sound as the bar moves.

the knocking over bumps happens during any speed. The knock, bank, skipping feeling is over slower speeds around tight corners.
Does that help? The clicking sound is most likely the brake pads...checked the tires for nails etc. and so far so good. willl need to do a CAT scan to check for pebbles

You can eliminate the anti roll bar quite easily, all you need is a jack and 13mm spanner.
Disconect both ends of the roll bar and tie the bar up so it doesn't knock. Also secure the 2 rods that were attached to roll bar to stop them flapping around.
Take the car for a test drive and see if it still knocks.
I did this to mine and found the roll bar was causing one of my rear end knocks. (still not traced my other more severe thud like sounding one yet
)
