Water Pump on 4.2

tried to put the water put on a few times but it keeps leaking from the seals.
does anyone doa real gasket for these. or has anyone tried a paper gasket.

its leaking from where the pump joins the engine.

Not clear what you mean here. Have you got the water pump off - i.e. engine out?

Yes the engine is out and the water pump was removed for repair.
put have tried to put it back on twice, but both times it leaked at the seal where it joins the engine block.

There should be an O ring and normally some mastic . Should not be a problem normally , David

Basically its a silicon job as plasticman says. Need to silicon up with sump off and then fit pump. Trying to slide pump in with sump on won't work re sealing.
