Trackday Noise Limits 105Db

I want to do a novice track morning in October. I have a Cerb 4.5 decat and sport zorst. Is that likely to be over the limit?

It'll be over 105db definetly, sports exhaust with decat is usually somewhere between 115 and 125db I think

Aye, looked at Easytrack, I think it was and about the only place I can go is Spa....

If you ring your local track they will probably offer sound testing, possibly free of charge. If you are over the limit you can always get some track day silencers.

Can reduce noise by about 10db. But check with them first.

Peter, you doing the novice day at Brands with MSV? If so, I did it a few months back and they didnt even sound test. There where 2 cars there louder than mine.

Having said that, Ive got a sound meter AND a pair of ACT track silencers in the garage, yours for the borrowing of.
