I had mine fitted from stock on Tuesday at Track Car Solutions. I called in the week before and was told that they were in stock so I booked in for Tuesday.

I'm taking my car up to TCS on 30th for the decats (and a few other bits), so can't wait!

Would someone let me know how the noise is compared to beforehand? I have the cats currently with the ACT big bore 'cat-back' sports exhaust. Also wondered how the linked de-cats sound, as have only ever heard cars with the std decat pipes? I have seen they are described as the 'quiet race/decat option' but how much quieter are they?
Anyway whatever the sound am looking forward to Cerby being 'fettled'!!!

Cheers for that, I've purchased them and am awaiting delivery...

By the way, are they quite easy to fit - is there any sealing to be done? I had a good poke around under the car the other day and all the bolts look in quite good nick!

the only sealing you'll have to do is on the link itself. they are made "non symetrial" ie they have an off-centre bias to them .. so you have the option of running them either way up to make the least stress on the exhaust system and get the tailpipes lined up in their cutouts.

I think I just saw yours tagged up on the office table at Trackcar........so don't fret too much. I've been Cerbless for ages (well about two weeks) and have just picked it up and driven it home..................it's amazing how much you miss the power and the noise...........

well i'm driving from essex to trackcar next week to get mine fitted and mapped to suit
its a bit of a trek but i think its worth while IMHO

Hello Guys,
What kind of exhaust will give the 4.5 the loudest sound and backfires.
I heard sport pipes are pretty loud.
Does anyone want to give there opinion or advice.

You want straight pipes with no silencing doesn't he Cyclone?

The linked de-cats sound awsome. I fitted them about 1 month ago, on the idle the car sounds slightly quieter but when u let rip all hell brakes loose, the sound, 100% V8 thunder and the car actually feels quicker. At track day 3 weeks ago a friend of mine was in an audi tt and he was able to hear my car ging down the back straight from the opposite end of the track.

Ps Cyclone1: could you give me any details on how to go about getting 3 inch straight through pipes with no silencer.
