Outdoor Cover for a Cerbera, any advice please?

Can anyone recommend a good OUTDOOR cover for a Cerbera please? There seem to be a number out there, but I'm not sure which are the best/most effective. If anyone has any advice or recommendations, I'd be grateful, thank you!

tough one m8 covercraft are good but can be expensive but covers are not ideal the wind chaffing will wear out your laquer on the bodywork and if its not clean the dirt will scratch it
sorry but a garage is the best solution

I have one of these on my Cerb. Car and cover used daily, car kept outside on driveway with no problems at all. The added bonus of this cover is that you can put it on a wet car (a regular occurence in the UK) and all the heat/moisture will be let out of the cover but no further rain/weather gets in! No paintwork damage at all, ask anyone who knows the car!

i have learnt this top my peril - my car has developed a few blemishes where the cover has chaffed on teh bodywork. Nothing major, but i now tend to leave it uncovered when i can

Thanks for your advice Boys. (I can say this I'm a girl - don't worry!! ) I have just done a quick calculation on the cost of moving house to one with a garage and I can't afford it at the moment! So I will go with Cerby4.5's advice and speak to Classic Additions, thank you very much . Oh and I had a look at your Cerbera on your profile - certainly looks gorgeous

Thanks John, I was typing my reply when your posting came in - I will take a look at Halfords too as you are recommending. Apart from wanting to keep the car free of presents from birds, local cats - who just love the long warm bonnet and other creatures - I would just like it stay clean and shiny for 24 hours. Hence needing advice, because a cover which lets in the damp wouldn't keep it shiny. So thanks again

my cover craft is pretty good, doesn't scratch, very soft underlinning. the only complaint i have is when heavy rain, the cover soaks it up a bit...

I have just bought the new cover from Halfords £49.99 I think, silver on the outside and a soft material on the inside, the medium car sive is a perfect fit for the Cerbera.

If you have a source of power I would highly
recommend a 'carcoon' out door cover. Have been
using same for over 4 years now ( since leaving
my wonderful garage in Kent for the Norfolk
wilderness ! ) Added benefits are trickle battery
charging & if the cars put a away wet it will dry
very quick if the engines warm without the discs
even surface rusting !

I've got a Covercraft cover and some scratches to prove it.

It's not a brand specific issue, just the nature of the beast. If you live somewhere where your parked car is going to catch enough breeze for the cover to ripple and move then paint damage will occur. It doesn't matter how soft the cover is, it's the small particles of airborn grit and stuff that get under it and do the damage.

I'm sad enough that I now have an interior car cover for when it's parked in the garage. I'm not sure it's the kids, but it was starting to pick up small scratches

Which type of indoor cover have you got byker28i? I keep my car in the garage but with my table saw, mitre saw, belt sander etc it just gets covered in sawdust all of the time. I would like a cover to stop this happening.

Thanks for the comments re: the car.
I am sure you will be very happy with the cover, and the company themselves are very helpful. I would recommend that you also go for the cable lock to make it a little more secure on the car (is only an extra £10 or so).
But as far as keeping the car clean and free from muck, grit etc it is excellent. If I wash/polish the car and then put the cover on, even if it rains torrentially overnight, all I have to do the next morning is wipe down the exposed bottom third of the wheels and am ready to go!!
