Very slow idle

The car is chugging all over the place and is idling at between 450 - 500 rpm. Any ideas, I'm fed up with the cats glowing red hot and revving at every junction.

Sounds like a tune up/throttle pot adjustment is needed.

IIRC there is a bar that adjusts the openings/balance of the two banks throttle bodys... If this is out it can cause the car to not idle properly/ run crap. I may be slightly out on this as it was aggggggeeeees ago.

We had this just before a rolling road session about four/five years ago - where we met Trackcar.
