Led bulbs for dash instruments

Not having much luck replacing my bulbs, seems the wedge fitting bulbs I have replaced with white LED equivalents are ok, but all the bayonet fitting LEDS don't work, no matter how many times I fiddle wobble them about and swap them around, if you look at the picture below the standard bulb is on the right which is marked VCH 12v 2w, the LED replacement on the left is from ultraleds, its a uba91w, notice the wedge fitting bulbs are milli amp rated on there but not the bayonet fittings, just says 12v dc?

Same on mine, its because the dials are bigger ! The small dials have 1 bulb, so do the bigger ones so they ae just dimmer, but did you get brighter ones for the larger dials? They do come in different 'brightnesses' but be careful, some of the brighter ones wont fit into the 'tube' on the back of the dials as they are too wide.
How r you guys coping with colour variation as there three types of lamps ?
As i went to ace parts for mine but sent them back as colour match was awfull, some had a hint of blue another a hint of purple and others just brilliant white, so now awaiting my replacements in blue to see if there any better.
