Lambda Sensors - Budaholic?

Can someone please post a pic of where the lambda sensors are exactly?

On the V8s they are just forward of the cats, one on each manifold. Each having three wires coming out if it.

The connectors are on top of the bellhousing, near the 'big fuse' and starter motor. Bit of a pita to get to, but you develop a knack after the first couple of goes (my car seems to eat sensors every 10k for some reason)

What actually happens to the sensors - you say eats them, but what actually goes wrong?

They just stop working and the MiL light comes on. Not so bad now I don't have cats, but had one cat glowing red once due to incorrect fueling. they should last 50k miles, but I don;t know why they don't in the Cerb, could be vibration, could be the fact it runs rich in places.

Sounds like I need a new one then. My left cat is glowing like a poker in the fire and the MIL light comes on/off/on etc. Is it best to replace both at the same time and how much are they?
