165 on the way back from Le Mans last year. Felt steady as a jelly fish, but boy was there still a way to go power wise.

Forgot to say that it was GPS verified - speedo reckoned about 172 at the time.

A relatively paltry 140 on way back from Le Mans this year. Having met a certain Polarbert there, who had been relieved of 750Euro on the way down, I was a little reticent to say the least to go much faster. Hoping to beat that by some margin during the Cerburgring trip however

187mph ish on speedo(couldnt look down at the speedo to much). At 150 on the speedo my gps says im doing 147. So it seems quite close

Now it's interesting that you say that coz a mate told me that GPS aren't THAT accurate anyway - Don't know if this is old news but there you go !

The problem is, finding a piece of tarmac straight enough, wide enough and flat enough. Done 170mph indicated, 156mph actual at Elvington and after seeing how the scenery starts to blur past, I wouldn't want to be on a public road doing that speed. Eventually, you run out of straight road before you run out of puff.

Incidently, the 156 was in a 4.5 and I managed a 160 but not GPS verified in the 4.2 on the same bit of tarmac. I fluffed the start in the 4.2 by forgetting to wind the window up, so was desperately changing gear and pressing the button all the way down the track, only realising the drivers door wasn't shut properly and the window wouldn't wind all the way up. Having tested the speedo on the 4.2, I've later found it to be much more acurate so I believe the 160 was a true reading.

AND THAT TOPPED OUT AT ABOUT 187 MPH
