Cerbera rebuild manuals

Those yellow fronted Cerbera rebuild manuals that are for sale on ebay.

Has anyone here bought one? Can you vouch for their quality? Are they a good product? And, is there anything NOT in the manual that you thought there would/should be?

Errum, they are good in an I like to collect Cerb stuff sort of way.

They are written in very much the same way as the Cerb workshop manual. Very brief descriptions, and barely adequate photos. But the info they give is invaluable as there is no other source of the stuff out there.

I have never had to use the manual in anger and hope I don't have to. I have read that manual about thirty times, and have come to the conclusions that although I have taken a fair few engines apart, I wouldn't swear I could do the same with the AJP based on that manual. I would hope the manual would make a lot more sense if I had the engine in pieces though.

I was going to use it to do the tappets, but think I'll leave it for now.

not sure its any help for tappets, the normal manual should tell you what you need to know for that.

I used it to rebuild my engine - was invaluable. Gives you all the torque settings and little pointers you need.

I got one and wouldn't have contemplated doing my engine rebuild without it. Doesn't tell you everything for a rebuild as it is a new-build doc - but absolutely invaluable.

Yes, the finished article is very nice Cerbhead. Had you taken an engine out before you attempted this project?

Thanks caduceus. Yes back in my youth - AKA prehistory. Nothing as big and complex as this tho.
