Help... my door buttons not working

Any ideas? the interior door button has decided it doesnt want to play no more and wont let me out of the car?.Mirror button works fine.Can any one help me.

Same thing happened to me, its a nice easy Sunday job for you.

Door panels off, take the connectors apart, and you'll probably dind the connectors are corroded, I think its the orange wire, clean them with WD40 and toothbrush, and you should be OK.

Had this happen to me twice, turned out that the passenger side door was mounted slightly wrong and wasn't catching properly, thus confusing the electronics.

Same thing happened to me too. Mine was corroded but no amount of WD40 was gonna help it. I had to cut off all the pins and crimp on new multiway connectors.
Been perfect ever since.

It'll be the connector in the door panel. I've found that when a connector starts playing up, you can clean it up and it'll work again for a short while. Your best bet is to do the job right the first time and cut the connector out and replace with new.

I learnt my lesson after spending best part of a week taking the door panel on and off

Is the button on the inside on a different plug from the outside button then?

The cables entering the door are all in 1 large multiplug. There is another plug between the door wiring and the door card to allow you to remove the card.

It is more than likely that they are all corroded to some extent. Remove the door card by undoing the allen head screws round the perimeter and all will be obvious.

my passenger door button stopped working this week also
was going to attempt a fix today but could not see any screws or any other fixings holding the door pad on
was not brave enough to start tugging at it, so can anyone tell me how to remove the door pad

Its the allen bolts around the door.Near the catch,top of recess when door is open,and underneath.

Problem solved.It turned out to be a wire on the back of the switch had broken in three places.
