Shell V Power

At first I thought Shell ahd just done a marketing job renaming Optimax but I filled up today and when out for a blat. The exhaust was poping and banging like crazy - maybe teh weather had something to do with it but it did feel like it was more aggressive than usual

Has anyone else noticed a difference

I definitely get more noise from Tesco's 99, not tried V-Power in the Cerb yet.

I thought it was psychological initially, but now I'm convinced my T350 is definitely smoother on V-Power.
Unfortunately I don't get the crackles and pops that you lucky Cerb owners get though...

i get this, but more with tesco 99, it seems at different rev ranges, shell goes to the lower revs and 99 at higher it pops. every 5th half tank i fill up on is V-power.

yeh mines pulls alot stronger and runs smoother since i started using v-power! they say the cleaning agents in the shell fuel are good for older engines which is probably why i noticed such a big dif. [4.5 98] i'm glad other people are noticeing it to now i don't feel like its all in my head.
