TVR specials. Remember to mark the shaft position so that the steering wheel is in the right position and not offset when putting it back. You can't remove the steering wheel and reposition it so it has to be correctly aligned from day one. Main problem is getting the old ones off. Clamp a mole grip on the shaft and hit with a big hammer will usually sort out stubborn shafts. Use lots of penetrating oil etc etc.
Yep, I took mine off. I do remember that the first time I did it I moved the steering rack first because they were a bugger to get off.
Putting them back I noticed that it was very important where the wheel was in its rotation. At one point the UJ's both come off without the need for moving anything else.
Looking back its pretty obvious where this point is.
