Come on, don't make me feel any worse.
It'll only be up for 6 weeks max, if it doesn't go by then I will wait until spring next year. There are too many reasons in favour of why I should sell, including buying a new property and wanting to start a family, on top of that my wife will not drive the Cerb at all and finds it uncomfortable to be in on long journey's, she'd also like a sports car that she can drive and enjoy (she has the misfortune to drive a very bland company car) and to be honest it makes me feel a little selfish (and that I can't really afford to splash out another £20k on a car for her)that the Cerb is solely for me. Plus the fact that I spend a lot of my spare time as well as money maintaining, improving, driving and cleaning the car. A move away from the Cerb to a car that both of us will enjoy is the plan, as for what that will be then we are not agreed yet. If it sells I will miss it like mad................

Blimey did your misses draft that last post for you Mate we did the same! Looking at the house we originally wanted before movin to here and in the end we agreed that I'm a miserable enough c#nt with out selling my baby and that the family just didn't think they could handle me any worse!

In a similar situation Craig, it will be a massive struggle to see the Cerb go but an additional property, starting a family and the other half come first, in the past 5 years 2 of the 4 cars I've owned have been Cerbs and in between I tried to do the sensible thing and bought an Audi S4 (which both of us liked), but the need for another Cerb was too strong and a couple of years ago I bought my current 4.5. Another year down the line and I may be justifying why life without a Cerb is impossible
and I may well be back (I have a habit of buying back my old cars or going back to the same marque). Anyhow, it might not sell then I'll have no option but to keep it Jules.

Contemplated another 20VT a number of times over the past teo years as a back up car for the Cerb, but ended up buying a Polo (which to it's credit has given me a year or so of trouble free motoring). I reckon we'll end up with something along the lines of an Audi S4 Cab (wife's choice) or possibly an RS6.

It might not sell, so at least I may still have mine til into next year, then who knows what the outcome will be.
