Caduceus!! Ahem. Sorry, I completely missed this thread.
Yes, as Bud says, I did my drivers side window this week as it was slow to the point of stopping.
David, the rubber & felt strip insert can be bought from any TVR dealer for 11 quid odd(a metre). And the procedure is easy.
Door card off (6 or 7 small allen key bolts)
Take a picture of where the glass in the holders for reference (or even lightly score the bottom of the glass where it sits in the holders, you wont see this bit of glass in normal use)
Take glass out and clean, polish and Rainex BOTH sides. Remembering 'Rainex interior' on the inside of window, and Rainex exterior for outside.
Rip out old nackered window guides. Clean channels. Roughly cut new ones to size. Put 3 spots of superglue on contact surface of rubber and slot into window guides. manipulate rubber strip untill secure/tight fit.
Trim off excess rubber in guides.
Do the other sied the same way.
Refit cleaned glass. Which might need a little adjustment.
Door card back on. Job done.
