Accellerator cable?

Hi all,

My cable broke yesterday - search isn't working so can someone remind me please what to do?

Do I need to order one from a dealer, and how easy is it to fit?

I got mine from my dealer, to save time searching around. Took about 25 mins to fit. You need to reseal the bulkhead and remove the pedal to do a good job.

The two of us are great encouragement for anyone else looking at bring a Cerb to Ireland.

Or the other thing is do what i did,as per advice on here.Go to a mountain bike shop and get a good quality brake cable.They are better than TVR,s one should be no more than about £3.Just add a ferrel to the end clamp the arm over that it sits in to stop it sliding back through.Job done

Well I'm sure your facilities are better than mine, so I might borrow them occasionally!

I've been away all week so not had time to order a new cable, so no weekend blat for me.

A decent piece of string and your hand out the drivers window should get you here in about an hour.

The facilities will be fine but the frostbite on your fingers might be an issue.

Ha that's exactly how I moved it to the garage after the AA man dropped it round the back of the house!

You might regret that offer Andy.

I seem to be taking some bit of it apart, either to sort it or just see how it works, almost all the time.
