Cerbs sounds

i love the sound of my cerb, but many people ask if theres something wrong with it because its so loud and because of the popping and banging and the odd flame or two
just wondering what would be the best description for the cerb noise to give someone who has never heard one
been trying to think of something to liken it too but ive drawn a blank

Devil Farting?

Have had the same response, once had an exceptionally loud bang immediately on start up. Cue worried face from friends wife with comment "Is it meant to do that". "Oh yes" I say, and in reference to the decat pipes with sports exhaust I had just had fitted I added "in fact I paid a little extra just to make sure it did do that"

I think the Cerb under acceleration sounds like a really really giant angry ing wasp, comming to kick somones ass big time!

The lady next door said to me last year "Your car is so loud it makes my knocker rattle" I think see mean't her door knocker!

I must say that with sports exhaust and decat on start-up I get a huge explosion (sometimes) just on ignition, it does sound like a shot gun! I bet my neighbours bl**dy hate me!

A mate of mine followed me for a few miles once and said to me when we parked up, "You know your car really could do with a Krypton Tune, every time you take your foot off the gas it's banging and missing really bad!"
I didn't even bother explaining, just smiled.

Now for the bad news, the above dog is CerberUS, however CerberA is (and dont ever tell anyone this OK, we've all got to believe aour cars are named after an a powerful mythical 3 headed dog) but......."Cerbera is a genus of evergreen trees or shrubs. The genus is named after Cerberus because one of its most widely known species, Cerbera odollam, are poisonous. The Suicide tree (Cerbera odollam) is a species of tree native to India and other parts of Southern Asia. It grows preferentially in coastal salt swamps and in marshy areas.

I have the same problem people ask what wrong with the car, I cant start mine up before 9am on a weekend coz the neighbours complain about the noise, the best description would be like a tornado and i say if they dont like it, swallocks.

I work shifts and often leave for work at 5-30am so you can imagine how popular i am with the neighbours, but i do try not to make a noise

Wasn't it Clarkson who likened the AJP8 at full chat to "God tearing paper"....... RRRRRRRIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPP! Always seemed quite apposite to me.

The sound is god slamming the door on the devil and good old Lucifer banging on the door trying to get out.
