How do you remove the bottom wishbone........

........from the bottom balljoint?

I have removed the front suspension components to have them shot-blasted and painted.

Everything is going well except I can't work out how the bottom wishbone comes away from the ball joint. I have undone the cap screws and the wishbone is free.

I'm not bothered about removing the ball joint from the upright, I just want to remove the bottom wishbone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated especially if anyone has any pictures.

Hi if i understand you right,

Inside the large alloy part behind a stuck on cover on the rear they is a nut for the ball joint. I beleave the over four allen key bolts are glued into the threads,i hope this helps.
I have a picture of the components if this is of any help.

I did mine earlyier on this year, but left this as one and cleaned it by hand and electric drill.

Thanks for the reply.

I can see the top of the thread poking out of the upright but I can't see how to unscrew it.

It would be great to leave it on the upright and clean it up from there but I had to cut one the 4 small cap screws to remove it and I need to drill out the rest of the thread .

Any thoughts?
