Cerbera upgraded headlights ???? please help

Hi all,

On close inspection of my 1997 Cerbera headlights (the round ones, not the tuscan style ones, a lot of the silver has come off the rear casing and I'd like to get some new ones. I cant afford to go down the route of HID ones, so are there any direct replacments that are also better than the standard lights?

I know TVR fit more powerful bulbs to these but I still think they arn't very good, am I able to get anything better? and if so, where can I can them and for how much.

I upgraded the lights on mine some time ago. New reflectors from TVR power, direct feed from the battery (via relays) and PIAA bulbs. Vast improvment for about 120 pounds. DEtails on here somewhere....

We went HID for £150 I think... not sure of the exact details, dad did it all... the improvement is beyond words, the previous candle light's at the front are replaced with two bluish white light sabers. All done without having to get the front headlamp conversion (which to my eyes looks a little soft... I'll get my coat.)

I cant promise anything (im useless with electronical stuff/ not sure if I can get dad to explain it to me or if I can get enough free time to go through stuff with him - he works too hard/long hours!) but I will try and find out exactly what he has done.
